Finally! Happy Friday!! It's a great day to do a full wedding post. Nicki and Chris were married on September 11, 2010. Waking up that morning, I thought "Oh no..." as it was raining/storming pretty heavily. (It's Michigan... it could have been snowing or having a tropical heat wave... that's just how life is here.) So I immediately checked our radar for the weather... it appeared that the storms would move out just before the ceremony was to start, so we were holding on to that... however... it NEVER moved out. Radars are worthless! The radar was actually clear by then, but we were still getting drizzled on. Amazingly, I never heard one bad word or complaint from Nicki- she really didn't care at all what the weather was doing- she had her eyes on the prize: Chris- and getting married to him. So sweet. You can tell from the photos that they truly love each other- and they are more than willing to lay down their lives for each other. We made the most of the day, and attempted a few things- looking back, I'm grateful for the rain, as it made us think in a new light about "how can we get great, memorable images for these two... in spite of the weather?"
